Spotlight On

On Wednesday, September 14th, 2016, in partnership with Hannum's Harley-Davidson® of Media and the local Harley® Owners' Group, Tri-State H.O.G.®, Elwyn welcomed motorcycle riders to "parade" on the Media Campus.

The event was meant to develop relationships with partners in the community, create a public relations opportunity, and enrich the lives of the individuals we support. All of the staff and residents enjoyed the fun and excitement of seeing the motorcycles and even getting up close to touch and sit on them as well. Check out the highlights from the visit below.

ince 1988, Ride for Life has raised nearly $19 million for MDA. The roots of this event go back to the commitment of the Eastern Harley-Davidson® Dealers Association and their vision to create an experience like no other. Over the past 28 years, Ride for Life has brought together Harley-Davidson® riders and H.O.G.® Chapter members, partnering them with MDA Client families and kids living with neuromuscular diseases.

Ride for Life is currently the Nation’s Largest Harley-Davidson® fundraising event to benefit MDA. All money raised stays in the seven state area to help local individuals and families living with one of the 43 neuromuscular diseasesrepresented under the umbrella of the Muscular Dystrophy Association. By going to your local EHDDA and WPHDDA dealership and signing out a packet, the participants are given the tools to fundraise for the event. The more you raise, the more incentives you get! Ride for Life is completely underwritten by Corporate Sponsors, so you can feel good knowing that the money you raise goes directly to support MDA’s services.
